Scorpio vz. 61 (or Sa vz. 61 Skorpion) is a compact Czechoslovak submachine gun used in security forces and the army since the 1960s. Due to its short range, good controllability and high rate of fire, it is suitable for fighting in closed spaces and at short distances, although the 7.65 mm Browning cartridge was already considered too weak for use in submachine guns.
