Glock 19 pistol in 9mm Luger caliber

The world-famous service pistol of the Austrian arms manufacturer Glock. Glock is renowned for its quality and reliability. The fact that in the official armed forces of the USA they make up more than 60% of service short weapons speaks of their functionality. The main advantages are lower weight, ease of use and especially high reliability.

Variants of Glock 19 pistols

Standard - the basic model of the given generation
FS = Front Serrations - grooves on the front of the bolt
MOS = Modular Optic System - preparation for collimator installation
threaded (M13.5x1L) = left hand thread for silencer installation used on 9mm Luger Glock pistols
5th generation Glock 19

Differences from 3rd and 4th generation

fully ambidextrous controls (ambivalent bolt catch, rotating magazine release)
beveled slide front (same as G26 Gen 3 and 4)
removed the finger recesses on the front of the grip
modified barrel bore
new finish
different firing pin blocking design
different construction of the trigger housing, trigger pull and trigger spring
as standard, a web with a resistance of approx. 2.25 kg (very good trigger in the base)
slightly modified sights
If someone was bothered by the trigger on the Glock, then with the fifth generation this complaint falls away, because the trigger has a very pleasant and smooth operation.

The Glock 19 service pistol in the basic version has a durable polymer body. This achieves a weight reduction compared to most all-metal guns of the same size. The weight difference is noticeable especially during longer use. As usual with this brand, the gun has extremely simple controls. The handle has finger shaping (for the 3rd and 4th generation) and ensures a stable grip when shooting.
