FN America Five-seveN MRD self-loading pistol, black

The Five-seveN self-loading pistol was designed by the Belgian armory FN Herstal in the 1990s as part of the PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) weapon set together with the FN P-90 submachine gun.
Both guns use the same powerful 5.7 x 28 mm (5.7x28) microcaliber cartridge with a bottle cartridge.
The SS190 type bullet has a similar design to the SS109 rifle bullet of 5.56 x 45 NATO cartridge and at a distance of 150 m it reliably penetrates all common "soft" ballistic protection (that is, up to level IIIA according to American NIJ standards) as well as corresponding protective helmets.

Despite the high ballistic performance of the cartridge, the weapon exhibits minimal recoil and lift when firing and can be easily controlled.
For self-defense purposes, it offers unsurpassed performance both thanks to the cartridge itself and the high magazine capacity.
At the same time, however, the Five-seveN pistol does not differ in size from a number of other self-defense or service pistols, and in terms of weight it is even among the lightest.
